If there are any identified repairs or alterations done to a specimen, we will describe them in the item's description. Your trust is important to us, and we aim to provide you with reliable information about every item. 

Our items come from various sources around the globe rather than just one location. We acquire our inventory from suppliers worldwide—some items are sourced from quarries, while others come from individuals who specialize in finding unique pieces.  

We, the owners of FossilsUSA, also enjoy searching for fossils and crystals ourselves, so occasionally, we may offer items from our personal collection. However, the majority of our inventory for sale is collected by our trusted suppliers. This diverse sourcing allows us to provide you with a wide range of authentic and fascinating items. 

Actually, fossils are very common! While there are some extremely rare specimens, such as whole dinosaur eggs, you can find fossils in nearly every location on Earth. Many types of fossils, like smaller plants and sea creatures, are much more abundant, making it easier to discover them. So, while certain fossils may be rare, the overall presence of fossils in our environment is quite widespread and many can be legally bought and sold because of this!
